I have reinstalled the game and added the Silent patch. I've got rid of the downloaded dinput8.dll file. But here's a malfunction report, in this case your patch isn't solving the mouse problem. For a day after installing the Silent patch, the mouse worked perfectly. Today it worked perfectly too, for about 1-2 hours.

This game would cause my mouse to freeze in game and would crash when pressing esc or when trying to save. But I found a minor fix that lets me play the game. 1. Start up the game and when you get to the start menu exit the game. 2. Then start up the game again and load a save or start a new game. For what ever reason this works for me. It has been tested to work flawlessly on Windows 10. Readers will need to get an ASI Loader and place this file in the GTA San Andreas directory (which is in the C Drive by default).So, to fix that you would have to run San Andreas, make a new game and play it until you can save it, and then save the file. After that, you exit San Andreas, and copy your saves and user tracks and move them to the new location. You'll have to search for it. On Vista it's C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\.
