Hello, i'm struggling to find the following info Does anyone know the service interval for timing belt change on a 2012 A6 2.0tdi with a CGLC engine code.
I keep being told different things about how often I should change the Timing Belt (and Water Pump) on my 2007 Mk5 Golf 2.0L 140Bhp Diesel BKD/PD Engine. Different garages (Main Dealer and Independents) tell me different things, such as it is every 5 years/60k miles, or every 4 years/80k miles and even every 5 years/140k miles!

I'm trying to understand the VW Factory interval for the timing belt for a 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. Everything I'm seeing is 120k miles. Well, I have a 2013 with 24K miles on it.

TDI. Golf 2012. Jul 23, 2014. #8. There is a guru that will replace timing belt for $730 so I think I will go with him. He's a trusted tdi guru in here and has great reviews. I haven't received the quote yet from my regular place but I'm sure it will be close to$ 1,200 and that difference is just too big to pass on. T.
Remove the 13mm nut on the tensioner pulley. Do not lose the washer. Slide the belt off of the water pump, then take the belt off of the rest of the components. Remove the tensioner. Remove the three 10mm bolts from the water pump. These bolts have a weird thread to them, so do not lose them. Remove the water pump.
Re: Audi A4 cambelt change – 04-06-2016, 07:45 AM. My manual does not give a time limit just a mileage interval, but Audi UK dealers strongly recommend changing every 5 years even if the recommended mileage hasn't been reached. I know it's not cheap but for piece of mind I would always recommend a time limit as well (5 years), given that it

@Lou12: This is what the maintenance procedures manual says about the VW 2.0 TDI timing belt: Generally, it is not necessary to replace the belt before reaching the next replacement interval. In particular, cracks on the back side of the belt do not affect service life and cannot be claimed as goodwill or warranty measures.

The most recent recommend timing belt replacement interval for Audi models with 2.0T FSI engine is 110,000 miles. 2008-2009 Audi TT change interval is 90,000 miles to 110,000 miles for 2.0T FSI 8J chassis. 2006-2008 Audi A3 change interval is 90,000 miles to 110,000 miles for 2.0T FSI 8P chassis. What does Blauparts recommend?
Audi A3 (2012-2019 / 8V, MK 3) Below we will see the instructions on how and when to replace the timing belt on the Audi A3 2.0 TDI (but also on other models with the same engine); Guide to replacing the timing belt of the Audi A6 1.8 Turbo.
The timing belt replacement intervals are different depending on what model year and engine you have in your Volkswagen Golf. Further down on this page you will find information about the intervals for different years and engines. Also keep in mind that some motors have a timing chain. These usually do not need to be replaced. The A4 2.0T FSI is an interference engine (a.k.a. non-clearance engine). If the Audi A4 timing belt fails, the timing belt system that links the cylinder head, camshafts, and crankshaft no longer run in sync. Close tolerance engine designs allow for the cylinder head valves to hit the top side of the pistons. m5ZPSGx.
